shadow IT Volunteers

You can use your software development, database, and systems engineering skills to improve living conditions for people all over the world!  Usable, well-crafted IT systems help EWB-USA volunteers share best practices, raise more money, and improve the lives of more people in the countries we serve.

EWB-USA has a growing team of excellent IT volunteers.  If you'd like to join us, you should have:
  • Comfort operating in unix (linux or solaris)
  • Familiarity with source control (CVS or SVN)
  • Familiarity with content management / CMS concepts
  • A friendly, team-oriented approach to problem solving
You'll have even greater opportunities within our team if you have experience with any of: data warehousing, SOAP web services, Java, PHP, MySQL, GIS, Pentaho, Salesforce, MS Great Plains, or SharePoint.

EWB-USA is a non-profit humanitarian organization established to partner with developing communities worldwide in order to improve their quality of life. This partnership involves the implementation of sustainable engineering projects, while involving and training internationally responsible engineers and engineering students.  Learn more on our website:  http://www.ewb-usa.org

If you're interested or know someone who might be, email our IT volunteer coordinator Corey Snipes at corey.snipes@ewb-usa.org.
