OUR COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITIES

Community Engineering Corps

Community Engineering Corps (CECorps) works to build a future where everyone has access to engineering needed to live a life of opportunity and thrive. CECorps was founded in 2014 and leverages an extensive volunteer network to provide pro-bono engineering and consulting services in partnership with communities throughout the US and territories to address infrastructure issues and inequities.

Our Mission Community Engineering Corps brings underserved communities and volunteers together to advance local engineering solutions.

Our Vision All communities in the United States have the infrastructure they need to thrive.

“Everyone deserves access to water, even small towns like… lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Praesent facilisis posuere est at tincidunt.”

OUR COMMITMENT TO THRIVING COMMUNITIES

As a program that addresses infrastructure needs in underserved communities, CECorps recognizes that systemic racism and infrastructure development are deeply interlinked. Infrastructure design has historically been a powerful tool to exclude and marginalize specific groups of people creating injustices in communities that still exist today. We are committed to building infrastructure that improves equity in access to resources and opportunity in our partner communities.

CECorps continues to learn and grow in our efforts to support those that are marginalized by infrastructure inequities. We welcome your ideas, feedback, and comments.
