STUDENTS

Take these steps to join our volunteer program if you are a university student

Students from all majors are needed and welcome! Participation in chapter activities is the main way that EWB-USA volunteers further our mission. If you are a student at a university in the United States, your university may already have a chapter with us.
Find them here.

Can’t find a student chapter near you?
Reach out to a chapter directly via email or website to learn how to get involved remotely. (Note: Some but not all chapters have these opportunities available.)

Or you and your team can apply to start a new chapter at your university.

Don’t want to join a chapter?
Continue onto the steps below to get involved as an individual.

Use Volunteer Village, our online volunteer portal to:

  • Share more about yourself with the EWB-USA community, connect with peers and mentors, and keep up on all things EWB-USA. Complete the registration form to access Volunteer Village.
  • If joining a chapter, connect with other volunteers within your chapter and view the projects your team is working on.
  • Find resources to start a chapter, explore technical resources, and learn how EWB-USA projects work.
